Spotted is designed with privacy in mind. This page explains the data we store and why.

What we collect

• Profile info — username and optional profile photo you provide.
• Posts — photos, captions, and users you tag or mention.
• Location — stored for each post, enables map and location based features.
• Notification preferences & tokens — device tokens and settings for push notifications you opt into.

How we use data

We use data to show posts to players in the same game, power location features when provided, and deliver push notifications per your settings. We do not sell your data.

What data is deleted when deleting your account

When deleting your account, we delete your existing posts and transfer ownership of any games you own to a random member of the game. Note: Posts created by other users who have tagged you are not deleted and instead showcase an unkown profile icon.

Your choices

• Edit or delete your posts to remove content and location data.
• Revoke notifications via your device settings.
• Revoke location permissions via your device settings.
• Request account/data removal in profile settings.
